Ayurveda can be translated as the “Science of Life” and is the medical system from India. Part of the teachings focus on maintaining our current level of health as well as preventing disease. Yoga, food and lifestyle are a big part of this system. Connecting our internal rhythms to those of the world around us is a core teaching from this tradition.
Samantha Sambrooke, Yoga Therapist, Holistic Nutritionist and Ayurvedic Practitioner (in training) will be guiding you through this workshop where you will learn:

- What are the Doshas (the different bodily constitutions) and how they effect what we eat
- Important Ayurvedic practices and foods to consider as we enter fall
- How to make seasonal meals (including a cooking demo)
